Manor Park Sports Club

Nestllng under the picturesque backdrop of the Malvern Hills, the Manor Park Club, which celebrated its centenary in 2007, offers excellent playing and coaching facilities on a variety of surfaces including 3 indoor acrylic courts.  The club caters for all ages and standards with a high number of teams competing in both county and national leagues. The teams are always keen to welcome new members. Equally welcome are players who wish to join in at a social level.

2010 saw the club receiving the Herefordshire and Worcestershire club of the year award as well as the MHDC Club of the Year. The Club is an LTA Performance Club and has a comprehensive junior performance and development program. Adult tennis is at the forefront of activities with 16 teams currently entered into county leagues catering for team play across a wide range of standards.

In addition both adults and juniors are involved in Aegon National Club Leagues.

In 2010 the club upgraded its facilities across the range with a third indoor acrylic court being added.  The 4 astroturf courts were re-carpeted and additonal floodlights installed making a total of 6 floodlit courts.  The acrylic courts are to be re-surfaced in 2011.

The Club hosts a number of external competitive events including the Grade 3 Bottle Green Malvern Open Tournament which takes place in July. Details at malvernjunioropen.co.uk
